Privacy Policy for AGAP Apps

▦ 1. Scope and covered applications

This general policy applies to the current AGAP app catalogue and related editions for Windows, Android, macOS, Linux and the Web, where available. A specific app notice or store disclosure, if present, supplements this policy for that product.

🔒 2. Data processed by the apps

Depending on the selected application and feature, an AGAP app may access files, documents, e-mail messages and attachments, XML data, calendar items, clipboard content, installed-application information, removable-drive information, digital-signature or certificate information, and other content explicitly selected or generated by the user.

Such data is processed only to perform the requested functionality. Where processing can be completed locally, the app is designed to keep that processing on the user's device rather than upload the content to AGAP servers.

💾 3. Local storage, settings and history

An app may store local settings and operational data needed for its functions, such as language and appearance preferences, recent-file references, user configuration, local history, cache files, recovery data, saved lists or other feature-specific information.

Local data remains under the user's control and can generally be removed by using the app's own controls, clearing its application data, uninstalling the app, or deleting the relevant local files, depending on the operating system and product.

🌐 4. Network connections and third-party services

Some AGAP apps can operate without an Internet connection, while others may use network access for a feature requested by the user. Examples may include synchronization with an external service, update checks, opening online documentation or support pages, accessing app stores, downloading resources, or performing an online verification that is part of the selected feature.

When the user chooses to connect an app to a third-party service, that provider may process technical or account data under its own privacy terms. AGAP does not control the independent processing performed by operating-system vendors, app stores, cloud providers, calendar providers, certificate or verification services, or websites opened by the user.

🧩 5. Device permissions

Depending on the platform and app, permissions may be requested for files and storage, calendars, notifications, clipboard access, installed applications, removable devices, network access or other system resources required by the feature being used. Permissions are used for the relevant app function and can be reviewed or revoked through the operating system where supported.

✉ 6. Support, contact requests and voluntarily provided data

If you contact AGAP for support, bug reports, feedback or other requests, AGAP may receive the information you voluntarily provide, such as your name, contact details, message contents, technical details and files you choose to attach. This information is used to respond to the request, provide support, diagnose the reported problem and maintain necessary correspondence.

Please avoid sending confidential or personal content that is not necessary for the support request.

⌁ 7. Website and web-app technical data

When you visit apps.agap.it or use an AGAP web tool, the web server or hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, request date and time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, and error or security logs. These data may be necessary to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose technical problems.

Some pages may contain links to, or resources provided by, third parties such as app stores, hosting services, counters or external websites. Those third parties may process technical data according to their own privacy policies.

🚫 8. Advertising, sale of data and profiling

AGAP does not sell users' personal data and does not design its applications to create advertising profiles. Any analytics, telemetry or diagnostic function, if introduced for a specific product, must be described in the relevant app notice or store disclosure and handled in accordance with applicable law and platform requirements.

🛡 9. Security and user responsibility

AGAP aims to minimize unnecessary data processing and to keep user-selected content local whenever the app's functionality allows it. Users remain responsible for the security of their devices, operating-system accounts, backups, access credentials, third-party accounts and the channels through which they store or share exported data.

⌛ 10. Retention

Data stored locally by an app remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, removed by the app, cleared by the operating system or removed through uninstallation, according to the relevant feature. Support correspondence and other data received directly by AGAP are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain appropriate records, protect legal rights or comply with applicable obligations.

⚖ 11. Privacy rights

Where AGAP directly processes personal data about you, and subject to the conditions provided by applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.

For data stored only on your own device, you normally exercise direct control through the app and operating-system tools rather than by submitting a request to AGAP.

AGAP apps are general-purpose utilities and are not specifically directed at children. AGAP does not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through the apps beyond data a user may voluntarily provide through a support or contact request.

↻ 13. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the AGAP app catalogue, app features, legal requirements or third-party integrations change. The current version is published at this URL and the update date shown at the top of the page identifies the latest revision.
